Alison, a Certified Meeting Planner, is a 14-year veteran of the special event and meeting production industry. As a graduate from The University of San Diego in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications, Alison dove immediately into the hospitality industry. Since graduating, she has worked in many segments of the industry as a Producer, Designer and Account Executive. She was instrumental in launching the on-property supplier-partner relationship with the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona, managing their Event Production office for three plus years. In that three year period, Alison personally produced over 1,500 successful events – an amazing accomplishment by any standards!
Alison oversees all client and account services for The Producer’s Lounge and has managed all segments of corporate events including registration, travel logistics, destination management, video production, event décor, golf tournaments, audio-visual and staging, and name and local entertainment. Alison’s portfolio includes work for Interstate Batteries, eWomenNetwork, Sidley Austin Brown & Wood, American Express, Genworth Financial, IBM, Toyota, Frito Lay, Fidelity Investments, Robb Report, Raymond James and Associates, Mac Tools and BMW.
Alison’s also incredibly involved in Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She was recently installed as the 2009-2010 Director of Education and Events for the MPI-D/FW Chapter. The Chapter recently honored her with the 2008-2009 MPI-D/FW Member Choice Award Winner for Outstanding Chapter Special Event of the Year AND the 2008-2009 MPI-D/FW Member Choice Award Winner for Outstanding Chapter Committee of the Year. She was also nominated for the 2008-2009 MPI-D/FW Member Choice Award for Outstanding Chapter Leader of the Year. In addition to her work with MPI, Alison also serves on the Board of Directors for Love For Kids.
It’s hard to keep up with Alison but even with her busy schedule her first priority is exceeding her client’s expectations.
